The State of Wyoming is seeking Aquatic Invasive Species Technicians to inspect watercraft and prevent the spread of AIS across Beulah, Cheyenne, Evanston, Manville, Newcastle. Positions are temporary, lasting 2 to 3 months, with potential lodging consideration.
Technicians will contribute to outreach efforts, participate in data entry and equipment maintenance, and work weekend/holiday shifts as needed. A valid driver’s license is required for field assignments.
The Wyoming Game and Fish Department is seeking to hire multiple Aquatic Invasive Species Technicians in Beulah, Cheyenne, Evanston, Manville or Newcastle. These temporary positions are 2 to 3 months in length. Technicians will inspect watercraft at key locations throughout Wyoming to help prevent the introduction and spread of aquatic invasive species, and will participate in outreach and education efforts to inform the public about the impacts of aquatic invasive species.
Successful applicants will be stationed in Beulah, Cheyenne, Evanston, Manville or Newcastle.

Preference will be given to those with a high school diploma and experience in customer service.
Preference will be given to those with experience related to fish and wildlife Resource management, or college coursework towards a degree in fishery or wildlife management, ichthyology, or other closely related field. Preference may be given to candidates with experience in the operation of watercraft, 4x4 vehicles, and/or hauling trailers.
