Job summary

Antech Diagnostics AIS is seeking a remote veterinary radiologist to interpret digital radiographs, ultrasound, MRI and CT scans for clinical decision support. The role emphasizes collaboration with veterinarians and continuous professional development.

Applicants should hold a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine, be board-certified (ACVR or EVDI), and be licensed to practice in the United States. Strong English communication and the ability to work remotely with minimal supervision are required.

Qualifications

• DVM/VMD degree or equivalent.
• ACVR or EVDI Diplomate certification.
• Experience interpreting radiographs, ultrasound, CT, MRI, and nuclear medicine.
• Must be licensed to practice veterinary medicine in respective state.
• Fluency in English.

Responsibilities

• Remotely review, evaluate and interpret radiographs, ultrasound, MRI, CT and other digital images.
• Dictate diagnostic imaging reports using voice dictation software.
• Collaborate with AIS colleagues through chat and meetings.
• Consult with clients and veterinary professionals via phone, email, Zoom and MS Teams.
• Participate in AIS rounds, journal club and CE events; quality control programs.
• Stay current on imaging theories and treatments in veterinary medicine.
• Assist in other duties related to veterinary teleradiology.
• May participate in enterprise initiatives and special projects.

This remote position for our Antech Imaging Services (AIS) team remotely interprets digital radiographs, ultrasound, magnetic resonance imaging (MRI), computed tomography (CT), and other diagnostic images, and provides evaluations for use by veterinarians in the clinical treatment of their patients.

The Target starting pay range for this position at full-time status is based on relevant job-related skills, experience, education, training, and budget. In addition, there is opportunity for lucrative commission and generous signing bonus.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Remotely reviewing, evaluating and interpreting radiographs, ultrasound, MRI, CT, and other diagnostic images submitted digitally
• Dictating diagnostic imaging reports using voice dictation software
• Collaborative communications with colleagues through the AIS chat group.
• Consulting with clients and other veterinary professionals through phone, email, Zoom, MS Teams and other forms of communication
• Interact with AIS technical support and other personnel
• Be involved in regular AIS clinic rounds, journal club, employee meetings and professional enrichment which may be held in person or in on-line formats
• Participate in ACVR continuing education (CE) as well as other applicable CE events
• Participate in various quality control programs
• Maintain proficiency in clinical diagnostic skills and remain current on new theories, diagnostic approaches, and available treatments in the veterinary industry
• Assist in other duties relevant to veterinary teleradiology
• May be asked to participate in enterprise initiatives, special projects and other duties as assigned

Education and Experience:

• Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM/VMD) degree or equivalent
• Diplomat of American College of Veterinary Radiology (ACVR) or European College of Veterinary Diagnostic Imaging (EVDI)
• Expertise interpreting radiographs, ultrasound, computed tomography, magnetic resonance imaging and nuclear medicine
• Must be licensed to practice veterinary medicine in respective state
• Fluency in the English language
