Qualifications

  • Experience as a Scientific Technician or lab/field assistant in health or science.

Responsibilities

  • Lead AIS survey efforts at WDFW hatcheries and high-risk water bodies.
  • Conduct AIS surveys using plankton tows, shoreline surveys, and eDNA collection.
  • Maintain field and laboratory equipment and ensure safe operation.
  • Travel statewide for weekly field work and occasional after-hours response.
