Job summary

Medium is seeking an experienced Airworthiness Manager in Washington, D.C. to lead airworthiness functions. This role involves developing strategies and overseeing certification processes for military and civil aviation, ensuring compliance with regulations. Ideal candidates will have at least 6 years of relevant experience and a strong background in STEM.

Compensation ranges from $165,000 to $220,000 annually, alongside benefits such as employer-paid health care, stock options, and flexible PTO.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering – Aerospace, Mechanical, Electrical, Systems, or related field.
• Minimum of 6 years of airworthiness experience in aviation/aerospace industry.
• In-depth knowledge of military and civil aviation regulations and requirements.

Responsibilities

• Lead the organization’s airworthiness function, owning planning and execution.
• Develop and execute airworthiness plans for aircraft development programs.
• Coordinate with regulatory authorities and certification agencies.
