Job summary

Boeing in Moses Lake, Washington is seeking an Aviation Maintenance Inspector to join our Field team onsite. You will conduct thorough inspections of aircraft structures, systems, and components to ensure compliance with FAA regulations and safety standards.

The role requires 5+ years of maintenance inspection experience on powered aircraft, willingness to work varied shifts, and a valid A&P background. Relocation assistance and strong teamwork are provided.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience with aircraft maintenance inspection on powered aircraft.
• Must be willing to work any shift; including days, evenings, nights, and weekends.
• Ability to complete Fall Protection Training.

Responsibilities

• Conduct audits and surveillance of manufacturing and QA processes.
• Perform quality functions, including FAA coordination, conformity inspections, and airworthiness inspections.
• Initiate and document nonconforming materials, hardware, software, tools, parts, or assemblies.
• Utilize technical specifications, sketches, manuals, and FAA publications to effectively accomplish inspection assignments.
• Maintain all company and FAA-required records and inspection forms, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
• Uphold a safe, clean, and organized work environment while planning and organizing work packages to promote efficient operations and meet predetermined schedules.
• Operate various information systems, including company web-based systems and Microsoft Office products, to perform assigned tasks.
• Interpret and adhere to airworthiness directives, service bulletins, and other approved data to ensure compliance.
• Apply mathematical calculations to set up and use precision measuring tools for accurate measurements of gaps, heights, angles, and hole dimensions.
• Create production aids as needed to facilitate inspection assignments.
• Maintain necessary certifications, licenses, and permits required for the role.
• Exchange information with suppliers, customers, and company representatives to explain or demonstrate operations, tests, or any difficulties encountered.
