Job summary

Republic Airways is seeking an Aircraft Inspection Specialist to perform inspections on maintenance work and ensure airworthiness. You will audit paperwork, conduct visual/non-destructive testing as needed, and approve component closures after inspection.

The role requires an FAA AMT license with an RII certificate and at least 1 year of inspection experience, with travel up to 50% across our North American network.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• FAA Airframe and Powerplant license and RII certificate required.
• At least 1 year of aircraft inspection experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform inspection on completed maintenance and modifications to ensure airworthiness.
• Audit maintenance documents for accuracy and completeness.
• Conduct DVI/GVI inspections and NDT when required.
• Grant approval for component closure after inspection.
• Provide guidance and training to mechanics; review procedures and safety rules.
