Job description

Job Title: NAS Operations Manager (NOM)

Serves as a NAS Operations Manager (NOM) within the ZFW ARTCC Service Operations Center (SOC). The NOM is responsible for monitoring the status of services and systems, performing or directing the restoration of interrupted services/systems, operationally reconfiguring services/systems to minimize interruptions, and enhancing service predictability within the SOC’s area of responsibility. The NOM ensures the quality of NAS infrastructure services delivered to critical air traffic operations facilities.

Qualifications:

  1. Candidates must demonstrate experience at a level of difficulty and responsibility appropriate to the position.
  2. Specialized experience may include extensive knowledge and experience in technology, system interrelationships, and management of civilian or military automated aviation, navigation, and electronics systems.
  3. Generally, experience at the next lower pay band of FV-I/level IV or equivalent meets minimum qualifications, provided it demonstrates all the required abilities.
  4. Qualifications must be met by the closing date of this announcement.
