The Airway Transportation Systems Specialist (ATSS) at this level is recognized as the subject matter expert in their field. All duties of an ATSS are tied to maintaining the safe and efficient operating capacity of the complex network of electronics systems required for the world's largest air traffic control and navigation system.
Experience demonstrating extensive knowledge of technology systems, interrelationships, and management of aviation electronics systems at the FV-2101 or related occupation level is required. Typically, experience should be at the next lower pay band or equivalent level.
