Job summary

Black Box seeks a Technical Support Engineer to maintain and optimize Aruba wireless at Miami International Airport, ensuring secure, reliable connectivity for airport staff, tenants, airlines, and operations.

You will monitor controllers and access points, troubleshoot issues, and collaboratively implement changes in a 24/7 environment while documenting configurations and contributing to continuous service improvements.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in IT/CS/Networking or equivalent experience.
• 3–5 years of enterprise wireless support experience.
• Experience with Aruba wireless infrastructure and large AP deployments.
• Strong TCP/IP, DHCP/DNS, and VLAN knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Provide operational support for Aruba wireless environment across airport facilities.
• Monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve wireless connectivity and authentication issues.
• Coordinate changes and testing under change management procedures.
• Perform root cause analysis and implement corrective actions.
• Document configurations, procedures, and network diagrams.
• Collaborate with engineers, stakeholders, vendors, and service providers.
