Job summary

Unifi Aviation, LLC is seeking a Wheelchair Ambassador to provide wheelchair assistance to international passengers at the airport. No experience required; paid training provided.

Full-time position starting at 30 hours/week with weekly pay and comprehensive benefits including medical, dental, vision, and 401(k). Responsibilities include assisting passengers from curb to aircraft, lifting passengers safely, coordinating with gate agents, and reporting through Avtech.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED is required.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Must be able to obtain credentials as per airport/state requirements.
• Proficient in English; additional language a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assist and transport passengers requiring wheelchair assistance to/from gate.
• Lift passengers safely up/down stairs and into/out of wheelchairs.
• Read paperwork to verify name, flight, date and special service details.
• Assist passengers with personal belongings and baggage.
• Read monitors for arrivals/departures and set up gate for passengers needing assistance.
• Greet and escort passengers in a friendly manner.
• Use Avtech system to report pick up/drop off of passengers needing assistance.
• Gather wheelchairs and return them to staging area.
• May assist with arranging ground transportation.
• All other duties as assigned.
