Airport Terminal Cleaner — Night Shift

Job summary

ADP, Inc. is seeking a Full-Time Cleaner for the ATL Airport in Atlanta, GA.

This role covers 3rd shift responsibilities, including cleaning all public areas inside and outside the building, restrooms, and supporting lobby and plaza cleanliness. The position requires ability to walk and stand for long periods, attention to health and safety regulations, and the ability to communicate professionally with clients and team members.

Responsibilities

• Respond to building requests as instructed.
• Clean, stock and supply designated facility areas (dusting, sweeping, vacuuming, mopping, cleaning ceiling vents, restroom cleaning etc.)
• Disinfect commonly used items like desks, door handles, and phones.
• Carry out heavy cleansing tasks and special projects.
• Emptying trash receptacles, replacing liners, disposing trash into dumpsters and bags for proper disposal.
• Using equipment, commercial vacuums, floor buffers and carpet cleaners
• Notify management of occurring deficiencies or needs for repairs.
• Stock and maintain supply rooms.
• Establishes and maintains effective communication and working relationships with clients, co-workers, shift coordinators, supervisors, managers, etc.
• Follow all health and safety regulations.
• Performs miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned.
• Monitor entire lobby areas and plaza for cleanliness.
• Monitor and maintain escalators and elevator cabs, including floors, as required. If carpeted, floors in elevators, cabs to be vacuumed and spots to be removed, as required.
• Clean fingerprints/marks from glass doors/mirrors.
• Perform high/low detail dusting/vacuuming.
• Exposure to dust, gas, fumes, extremes in temperature and or humidity.
• Complies with all safety, security, compliance, and quality standards and procedures established by the Company, Clients, and regulatory authorities.
• Function as a contact for client, using high level of professionalism and communication skills.
• Work with little to no supervision and be able to independently determine tasks to complete on a daily basis
• Must be able to perform all physical aspects of the above job duties. Continuous walking and standing.
• Must be able to speak and communicate effectively with management and customers.
