Job description

Two full-time positions available with the Aviation Department, Facilities Structural Division, located at 947 Mexico City Avenue.

Normal Workdays/Hours: Monday - Friday, 7:00 a.m. - 3:30 p.m.

Job Responsibilities

• Assists facility technicians with performing basic tasks in the installation, repair and maintenance of electrical equipment, plumbing and general maintenance of facilities.

• Assists facility technicians with monitoring boilers and HVAC equipment.

• Maintains and operates snow removal equipment, forklifts, man lifts and loaders.

• Performs other duties as assigned.

REQUIRES completion of a trade school or a shop training program; OR six (6) months experience in general maintenance and repair work. May be required to obtain a valid MO Class A,B, or C CDL prior to the end of the probationary period as determined by the department. Must pass a pre-employment drug screen and post-offer physical examination as prescribed by the City. Must posses a valid State-issued driver's license in accordance with the City of KCMO policies.
