AVCON, INC. in Tallahassee, FL seeks an experienced Civil/Project Engineer to manage airport and site development projects from proposal through construction.

You will lead design teams, coordinate sub-consultants, prepare scope and budgets, and ensure quality and schedule adherence. The role requires a PE license (or ability to obtain), 7+ years of experience, proficiency in AutoCAD, Civil 3D, stormwater modeling, and MS Office.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 7 years of engineering experience.
• Proficiency with AutoCAD and Civil 3D.
• Proficiency with stormwater modeling software.
• Proficiency with MS Outlook, Excel and Word.
• Florida PE licensure preferred; able to obtain in other states.

Responsabilités

• Design and management of airport and site development projects.
• Prepare complete project documentation including plans, specs, and estimates.
• Coordinate engineers and sub-consultants to meet schedules and budgets.
• Develop proposals, bid docs, and project reports.
• Attend meetings and present engineering aspects of projects.
• Ensure conformance with contract requirements and quality standards.
• Monitor milestones, change orders, and project status reports.
• Interact with clients, officials, and project teams to resolve issues.
