Job summary

Avis Budget Group is hiring a Shuttle Driver at our airport locations in Houston, TX. You will transport customers between the airport terminal and the rental car facility, greet passengers, assist with luggage, and ensure a safe, friendly ride.

Requires a valid US driver's license and the ability to obtain DOT medical clearance. We offer on-the-job training, paid time off, health insurance options, a 401k plan, and employee discounts on car rentals and purchases.

Qualifications

• Valid U.S. driver’s license (chauffeur license may be required depending on location)
• Previous professional driving experience preferred
• Strong customer service and communication skills
• Ability to obtain DOT medical clearance
• Flexibility to work all shifts
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds and drive a bus for prolonged periods
• Must be at least 21 years old and legally authorized to work in the United States

Responsibilities

• Transport customers between the airport terminal and the rental car facility
• Greet customers and assist with loading/unloading luggage
• Communicate route information and next steps in the rental process
• Ensure each ride is comfortable and welcoming
• Follow safety procedures and driving standards while providing excellent service
