Job summary

ABM Industries is hiring a Shuttle Driver to transport passengers to and from airports, buildings, hospitals, arenas, and other locations. The role may require CDL endorsement and on-the-job training is provided.

Your duties include safe operation of shuttle vehicles, assisting passengers, maintaining logs, and ensuring passenger safety. Ideal candidates are 21+, with no required prior experience, and will join a veteran-friendly employer with comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Must be 21 years of age or older.
• No experience required and on the job training provided.
• No high school diploma, GED or college degree required.
• This role may require a CDL with a specific class and endorsement requirement.

Responsibilities

• Transport, load and unload passengers at designated pick-up and drop-off locations.
• Ensure the safe loading and unloading of passengers and operation of equipment (including wheelchairs).
• Help passengers load and unload luggage as needed.
• Inspect shuttle for safety, perform routine cleaning and maintenance activities.
• Provide excellent customer service and directions to nearest highway or destination.
• Maintain and enforce bus evacuation plan and coordinate evacuation activities when needed.
• Refuel and maintain shuttle equipment and fuel use logs.
• Keep a clean work environment and perform pre- and post-inspections for safety.
