Job summary

ABM Industries is seeking a Shuttle Driver responsible for transporting passengers to designated locations, including airports, hospitals, and venues. The role requires safe operation, assisting passengers, and maintaining clean, well‑documented vehicles in compliance with DOT standards.

Qualifications

• Must be 21 years of age or older.
• No experience required and on-the-job training provided.
• No high school diploma, GED or college degree required.
• CDL with a specific class and endorsement may be required.

Responsibilities

• Transport, load and unload passengers to designated locations.
• Ensure safe loading/unloading and operation of equipment for passengers with special needs.
• Help passengers load/unload luggage as needed.
• Inspect vehicles for safety and perform routine cleaning and maintenance.
• Meet patrons at airport locations and lots.
• Record pre-existing damage via electronic device or manual ticket.
• Provide excellent customer service and give directions.
• Maintain and enforce bus evacuation plans and coordinate drills as needed.
• Report incidents to Operations Manager or Shift Lead.
• Refuel and log fuel usage; keep shuttle clean.
• Perform pre-and post-inspections to ensure safe operation and DOT compliance.
