Job summary

Lochner, a trusted infrastructure services provider since 1944, seeks a Project Manager to design and manage FAA and State DOT aviation projects across a broad client base. You will lead grant facilitation, design, bidding, construction administration, and close-out to ensure on-time and on-budget delivery.

You will ensure compliance with master plans, federal grant requirements, FAA/state design standards, and project scopes, applying FAA Advisory Circulars for runways and related airport

Qualifications

  • Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering or equivalent.
  • 8+ years of progressive civil engineering experience.
  • P.E. preferred or ability to obtain a State P.E. within the first year.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
  • Proficient knowledge of MS Office and Field navigation systems.

Responsibilities

  • Design and manage FAA and State DOT aviation projects across a broad client base.

Work Environment & Physical Requirements

The role involves exposure to moving mechanical parts, outdoor weather conditions, and varying noise levels. Physical requirements include intermittent sitting, walking, standing, bending, squatting, climbing, kneeling, twisting, stooping, crawling, and lifting light equipment up to 20 pounds. Employees may need to work near hazardous equipment, on uneven ground, and at heights, and may be exposed to dust, gas, fumes, noise, and temperature extremes.
