Allied Universal is seeking a Part-Time Airport Security Officer in Honolulu, HI to serve travelers and airport personnel with professionalism and courtesy. You will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, assist travelers and staff with professionalism, and communicate observations clearly. Requirements

• 18+ Years of Age
• Valid Drivers License
• Must be able to read, write and speak English fluently
• Ability to use computers - basic computer knowledge
• Ability to pass a background check, drug screen, and physical exam

What You'll Do

• Provide customer service to passengers, visitors, airport personnel, and other stakeholders while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of airport terminals, parking areas, access points, perimeter areas, and other assigned locations to help identify and report unusual activity or hazards.
• Monitor access points and restricted areas, verify credentials as directed, and report unauthorized access attempts or policy violations to the appropriate personnel.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, medical situations, and other critical events in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established site procedures.
• Prepare accurate reports and maintain clear communication with airport operations, emergency responders, Allied Universal leadership, and other designated contacts.

Minimum Requirements

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Ability to lift more than 20 lbs. is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
