Job summary

Allied Universal, North America’s leading security and facility services company, is seeking an Airport Security Officer for Kailua Kona, HI. This full-time role offers morning shifts from 5:30 AM to 2:00 PM on weekdays and weekends.

The position requires 18+ years, a valid driver's license where applicable, English fluency, and the ability to pass background checks and drug screening. You will patrol, monitor access points, respond to emergencies, and document activities per site procedures.

Qualifications

• Minimum requirements include a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Must be able to read, write and speak English fluently; valid driver's license may be required for driving positions.
• Ability to pass background checks, drug screening, and DOT-related checks where applicable.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to travelers, visitors, employees and contractors by following site-specific procedures and access-control practices.
• Conduct regular unarmed patrols of airport terminals, parking, and perimeter areas to identify unusual conditions and report incidents.
• Monitor access points and ensure compliance with airport rules and restricted-area requirements.
• Respond to incidents and emergencies in a calm, professional manner and notify appropriate personnel.
• Prepare clear reports and maintain logs as required by site policies.
