Job summary

Naples Airport Authority is seeking a Security Officer I to support safety, security, and daily airport operations in Naples, Florida. You will patrol facilities, respond to alarms, assist employees and the public, and help ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities include monitoring restricted areas, conducting inspections, preparing reports, and coordinating with law enforcement and emergency responders as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Ability to communicate effectively and exercise sound judgment.
• Certifications in ICS 100, 200, 700, 800 and CPR/AED/First Aid within six months.

Responsibilities

• Patrols airport facilities, terminals, parking areas, gates, and access points to identify security concerns and safety hazards.
• Responds to alarms, emergencies, suspicious activities, medical events, traffic incidents and other calls for service.
• Conducts preliminary investigations, documents findings, prepares reports, and coordinates with law enforcement and emergency responders.
• Monitors and secures facilities, gates, restricted areas, alarms, and access-control systems.
• Conducts security and facility inspections and reports safety, maintenance, and operational concerns.
• Provides courteous and professional service and assists with airport operations as assigned.
