Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking an Airport Security Guard: F/T TCO in Honolulu, HI. The role involves unarmed security patrols, assisting travelers, and enforcing airport policies at a busy airport location.

You will monitor access points, respond to incidents, and coordinate with airport operations to ensure safety and a welcoming environment. The position offers a full-time schedule with afternoon/evening shifts and a pay rate of $24.25 per hour.

Qualifications

• 18+ years of age.
• Valid driver's license.
• Must be able to read, write and speak English fluently.
• Ability to use computers - basic computer knowledge.
• Ability to pass a background check, drug screen, and physical exam.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to travelers, visitors, tenants, and airport personnel by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of airport terminals, parking areas, access points, perimeter areas, and other assigned locations to help identify and report unusual activity or conditions.
• Monitor access to restricted areas, verify credentials as directed, and report unauthorized access attempts or policy violations to appropriate airport personnel and/or Allied Universal supervision.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; document observations and complete required reports.
• Assist with traffic flow, passenger directions, and coordination with airport operations and public agencies during routine activities and emergency situations.
