Job summary

Responsibilities

• Supervise Transportation Security Officers and Lead Transportation Security Officers
• Oversee passenger and baggage screening operations
• Assign work, set priorities, rotate staff and ensure coverage
• Make security-based decisions using TSA procedures and judgment
• Review performance and provide coaching and feedback
• Approve leave and address workplace concerns
• Respond to incidents, disruptions, and emergencies
• Prepare briefings, logs, reports and management communications
• Coordinate with airport stakeholders and law enforcement
• Suggest improvements to procedures and staffing plans
