Job summary

Unifi Security LLC in Salt Lake City is seeking a Security Employee Screener to oversee access control for employees, visitors and vendors. The role ensures proper authorization and secure entry to client facilities, with a focus on safety and regulatory compliance.

The position requires vigilance, ability to work rotating shifts, and adherence to Unifi safety policies. Training is provided, with opportunities for growth in a security-focused team.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Must be able to obtain credentials required by airport/state/customs.

Responsibilities

• Inspect identifications, vehicle decals, screen visitors, couriers and contractors before entry.
• Conduct random security inspections including body scans and ETD screenings.
• Patrol premises, respond to security inquiries, document concerns.
• Prepare clear security incident reports and daily activity logs.
• Report security incidents and document suspicious activities to management.
• Respond to alarms and manage communications via radios and security equipment.
• Follow safety standards and report hazards as per policy.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
