Job summary

SSP America invites an Assistant Restaurant Manager to join our team at Dane County Regional Airport (MSN). You will oversee daily restaurant operations, supervise team members, and ensure top service quality in a fast-paced travel setting.

The role requires 2+ years in restaurant management and a high school diploma (associate’s degree preferred). Proficiency in MS Office and POS systems is expected, with a focus on budget awareness and guest satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Education and experience required for restaurant management.
• Strong computer skills including MS Office and POS systems.
• Ability to prioritize tasks and manage daily, weekly, monthly activities.

Responsibilities

• Manage all restaurant and customer service activities, supervise team performance and provide feedback.
• Lead and develop the team, train staff, set daily goals and ensure brand standards.
• Maintain adherence to company policies and procedures.
• Handle inventory, purchasing, scheduling and payroll.
• Assist in forecasting and budgeting by analyzing sales reports.
• Resolve routine issues and escalate complex problems as needed.
