Job summary

Constellis is seeking a dedicated Firefighter/EMS professional to provide ARFF, EMS, and Hazmat services at Chennault International Airport. You will respond to incidents, perform airfield safety checks, extinguish hazards, and maintain equipment and facilities.

The role requires active credentials (Firefighter I/II, ARFF, and EMR), a 21+ age minimum, US citizenship, and the ability to pass a medical and background check. A robust benefits package is offered.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years old.
• US citizenship is required.
• Valid Louisiana Driver's License is mandatory.
• Successful completion of a background check and a medical physical.

Responsibilities

• Respond to ARFF, EMS, or Hazmat incidents on or near the airport.
• Perform Runway safety checks and random airfield inspections.
• Inspect extinguishers, emergency vehicles, and rescue tools.
• Test hoses, hydrants, SCBAs, and firefighting PPE.
• Maintain fire station cleanliness and grounds.
• Participate in standby coverage for tenants and charters.
• Inspect fuel farm operations and Tower/buildings.
• Assist wildlife dispersal on the airfield.
• Respond to alarm signals and unusual activities.
• Perform all tasks of a Firefighter/EMS professional.
