Budget Car and Truck Rental of Utah is hiring an Rental Sales & Service Associate to assist travelers with reservations, rentals, and returns at the airport. You will process payments, explain options, and help customers select upgrades and protection products while meeting sales goals.

The role emphasizes evening shifts and weekend availability, with training provided and opportunities to develop skills in a fast-paced airport environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least 18 years old and legally allowed to work in the United States.
• Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving history; no more than two accidents in 3 years.
• Strong communication, customer service, and problem-solving skills.
• Comfortable working in a busy environment and handling sales transactions.
• Dependable, self-motivated, and available for evening shifts and weekends.

Join our airport team as a Rental Sales & Service Associate and help travelers get on the road with confidence. This role combines customer service, sales, rental transactions, and coordination with our vehicle operations team.

This position primarily covers evening and second shifts. Weekend availability is required.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with reservations, vehicle pickups, returns, and rental extensions.
• Close out contracts.
• Prepare rental agreements, process payments, and maintain accurate records.
• Explain vehicle options, upgrades, rental rates, and optional protection products.
• Recommend services based on customer needs and sales opportunities.
• Answer questions and resolve customer concerns professionally.
• Check vehicle condition and communicate fleet readiness needs to operations staff.
• Maintain an organized counter area and follow rental procedures.

Customer service, retail, hospitality, sales, or airport experience is beneficial, but training is provided. Employment requires successful completion of a background check and drug screening.
