Job Summary

Responsible for leading a ramp team, marshalling aircraft in and out of gates, loading, unloading, and sorting baggage. Also responsible for cleaning aircraft, restocking items, de-icing, inspections, hazard checks, and operating ramp equipment such as stairs and bridges.

Job Duties
  • Lead a team of agents in ramp service duties
  • Marshal aircraft on the ramp for arrivals, departures, and towing
  • Perform wing walker duties and de-ice aircraft as needed
  • Handle baggage, mail, freight, and materials transfer
  • Operate ramp equipment like bag tugs, belt loaders, and tow tractors
  • Optional cabin service duties such as cleaning and restocking
  • Ensure safety compliance and promote safety policies
  • Perform additional duties as assigned
Qualifications
  • High School diploma, GED, or equivalent
  • Must be at least 18 years old
  • Ability to obtain required airport, state, or customs credentials
  • Valid Driver's License
Preferred Qualifications
  • At least one year of relevant aviation or ground handling experience
Physical Requirements
  • Frequent lifting over 70 lbs, constant lifting up to 70 lbs, pushing, pulling, walking, standing, reaching, climbing, crawling, stooping, squatting, kneeling, and bending
Working Conditions
  • Rotating shifts including nights, weekends, holidays, and overtime
  • Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions
