Job summary

The Landline Company in San Francisco is seeking Ground Handling Agents (Ramp Drivers) to join our SFO team. You will operate a vehicle on the airport ramp, marshal buses, and coordinate vehicle movements in a busy environment while supporting passengers during drop-offs.

This hands-on, safety-critical role includes training covering AOA driving and airport safety, with opportunities to earn airport access credentials; shifts begin early and require reliability and teamwork.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED or equivalent required.
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record required.
• Experience driving in urban and highway environments preferred.
• Ability to pass a preemployment DOT drug test including marijuana.

Responsibilities

• Operate a vehicle safely within the Airport Operations Area and ramp environment, following safety protocols.
• Serve as a ramp escort, marshaling buses to gates, parking, and drop-off locations.
• Maintain awareness in a high-risk, high-traffic environment.
• Track bus status as it approaches SFO.
• Guide passengers during drop-offs with a teammate.
• Assist with unloading luggage and direct travelers to airport entrances.
• Maintain visible safety presence during passenger movement.
• Stage bags for airline handling using proper lifting techniques.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
