General Information

Job Title: Airport Ramp Agent (United) - CAK

Base Pay Rate: $15.00

Employment Type: Part Time

Position Status: Non-Exempt

Work Schedule

Days of the week: Monday through Sunday

Shifts: A.M. and P.M. shifts

Responsibilities

1. Load, unload, service, guide, and direct customer aircraft.
2. Safeguard customers' baggage, air cargo, and airmail from weather, loss, theft, damage, or destruction.
3. Lift, load/unload, sort, and transfer passenger baggage, airmail, freight, and company materials using appropriate equipment.
4. Operate pushback equipment and maintain visual contact with Wing Walkers to ensure safety.
5. Record and receive customer baggage, airfreight, mail, and company materials.
6. Transport cargo and baggage to and from aircraft and maintain related records.
7. Operate motorized equipment such as belt loaders, air start units, lift trucks, pushback tugs, and carts, or manually handle carts and containers.
8. Complete paperwork related to work assignments and enter data into the company's information system.
9. Perform additional duties as assigned within your skill and experience level.

Qualifications

1. Must be a resident of Ohio.
2. Valid in-state driver's license.
3. Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen and up to a 10-year background check.
4. At least 18 years old and authorized to work in the U.S.
5. Complete ramp and SIDA training to obtain airport security ID.
6. Ability to lift/move items weighing 70+ pounds regularly and 40-50 pounds on raised surfaces.
7. Ability to walk, climb, bend, kneel, crawl, and stoop frequently and for extended periods.
8. Ability to work in cramped or high places and carry heavy items up and down jetway stairs.
9. High School diploma or GED.
10. Preferred: Over one year of relevant experience.
