Job Schedule

Monday through Sunday, P.M. shift

Responsibilities

1. Load, unload, service, guide, and direct customer aircraft.
2. Safeguard customers' baggage, air cargo, and airmail from weather, loss, theft, damage, or destruction.
3. Lift, load/unload, sort, and transfer passenger baggage, airmail, freight, and company material using aircraft bins, belt loaders, or baggage carts safely.
4. Operate pushback equipment and maintain visual contact with Wing Walkers to ensure safety.
5. Record and receive customer baggage, airfreight, mail, and company materials as required.
6. Transport cargo and baggage to and from aircraft, and prepare related records.
7. Operate or drive motorized equipment such as belt loaders, air start units, lift trucks, pushback tugs, and carts, or manually handle push carts and containers.
8. Complete paperwork and data entry related to work assignments as per company procedures.
9. Perform other duties as assigned, within the skill and experience level for this position.

Qualifications

• Must be a resident of the state.
• Valid in-state driver's license.
• Ability to pass pre-employment drug screening and a background check (up to 10 years).
• Minimum age of 18 years.
• Authorization to work in the U.S. as per the Immigration Reform Act of 1986.
• Completion of ramp and SIDA training for airport security ID.
• Ability to lift/carry/push/pull items of 70 pounds regularly and lift 40-50 pounds on raised surfaces.
• Ability to walk, climb, bend, kneel, crawl, and stoop frequently and for extended periods.
• Capability to work in confined or elevated spaces and carry heavy items on jetway stairs.
• High School diploma or GED.
• Preferred: Over one year of relevant experience.

• Professional communication in person and via radio.
