Job summary

Swissport International AG is seeking a Ramp Agent in the Washington, DC area to provide under-wing ground support, including loading/unloading baggage and cargo, marshalling, and servicing aircraft. The role offers a pay rate of $19/hr with full-time benefits such as health and 401(k) matching, paid vacation, sick time, and holidays.

Responsibilities include aircraft marshalling, luggage and cargo handling, operating ground support equipment, and adhering to all security requirements.

Qualifications

• Ramp experience is preferred and helpful.
• Must have good command of English and be able to work in all weather.
• Valid driver’s license required.
• Able to lift up to 70 pounds (32 kg).

Responsibilities

• Marshall aircraft during arrival and departure.
• Unload luggage and cargo onto carts or dollies.
• Operate ground support equipment as directed.
• Maintain safety and follow security procedures.
• Report equipment malfunctions.
• Work across shifts including nights and weekends.
