• Shift Days: Monday to Sunday, A.M. and P.M. shifts

Responsibilities

• Loads, unloads, services, guides, and directs customer aircraft.
• Safeguards customers' baggage, air cargo, airmail from weather, loss, theft, damage and/or destruction.
• Loads/unloads, sorts, and transfers passenger baggage, airmail, freight, and company materials in and out of aircraft bins, belt loader, or baggage carts safely.
• Operates pushback equipment and maintains visual contact with Wing Walkers to ensure safety.
• Records and receives customer baggage, airfreight, mail, and company materials.
• Delivers and transports cargo and baggage to/from aircraft and maintains related records.
• Operates motorized equipment such as belt loaders, air start units, lift trucks, pushback tugs, and manually pushes/pulls carts and containers.
• Completes paperwork and updates company systems as required.
• Performs other duties within skill and experience capabilities.

Qualifications

• Must be a local resident (in-state).
• Valid In-State Driver's License.
• Ability to pass pre-employment drug screening and a 10-year background check.
• At least 18 years old and authorized to work in the U.S.
• Complete ramp and SIDA training for airport security clearance.
• Ability to lift/move items of 70+ pounds regularly and carry weights of 40-50 pounds on raised surfaces.
• Ability to walk, climb, bend, kneel, crawl, and stoop frequently and for extended periods.
• Work in cramped or high places and carry heavy items up/down stairs.
• High School diploma or GED; relevant experience preferred.
