Days of the week: Shift start times on Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, and Sunday for A.M. and P.M. shifts.

Requirements and Description

Responsibilities

• Loads, unloads, services, guides, and directs customer aircraft.
• Safeguards customers' baggage, air cargo, and airmail from weather, loss, theft, damage, and/or destruction.
• Lifts, loads/unloads, sorts, and transfers passenger baggage, airmail, freight, and company materials in and out of aircraft bins, belt loaders, or baggage carts safely.
• Operates pushback equipment and maintains visual contact with Wing Walkers to ensure safety.
• Receives and records customer baggage, airfreight, mail, and company materials as required.
• Picks up, delivers, and transports cargo and baggage to and from aircraft, preparing related records.
• Operates and/or drives motorized equipment such as belt loaders, air start units, lift trucks, pushback tugs, and carts, or manually handles push carts and containers.
• Completes paperwork related to work assignments and enters data into the company's information system.
• Performs other related duties as assigned, within the skill and experience level expected.

Base Pay Rate: $13.50

Part-Time, Non-Exempt Position

Shift Days: Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Sunday with A.M. and P.M. shifts

Qualifications

• Must be a resident of the state.
• Valid in-state driver's license.
• Ability to pass pre-employment drug screening and a background check up to 10 years.
• At least 18 years old.
• Legal authorization to work in the U.S.
• Complete ramp and SIDA training for airport security.
• Ability to lift/carry/push/pull items weighing 70 pounds regularly and 40-50 pounds on raised surfaces.
• Ability to walk, climb, bend, kneel, crawl, and stoop frequently and for extended periods.
• Ability to work in confined or elevated spaces and carry heavy items on jetway stairs.
• High School diploma or GED; relevant experience preferred.
