Airport Ramp Agent - CLT WN-PT (Finance)

General Information

Job Title: Airport Ramp Agent - CLT WN-PT

Date: Tuesday, May 6, 2025

Location: Charlotte, North Carolina

Base Pay Rate: $17.00

Employment Type: Part Time

Position Status: Non-Exempt

Shift Details

Days of the week: Monday to Sunday

Shifts: A.M., Overnight, P.M.

Responsibilities

1. Load, unload, service, guide, and direct customer aircraft.
2. Safeguard customers' baggage, air cargo, and airmail from weather, loss, theft, damage, or destruction.
3. Lift, load/unload, sort, and transfer passenger baggage, airmail, freight, and company materials safely.
4. Operate pushback equipment and coordinate with Wing Walkers for safety.
5. Record and receive customer baggage, airfreight, mail, and company materials.
6. Transport cargo and baggage to and from aircraft, and maintain related records.
7. Operate motorized equipment such as belt loaders, lift trucks, pushback tugs, and manually push/pull carts.
8. Complete paperwork and data entry related to work assignments.
9. Perform other duties as assigned within skill and experience levels.

Qualifications

• Resident of in-state.
• Valid In-State Driver's License.
• Ability to pass pre-employment drug screening and background check (up to 10 years).
• At least 18 years old and authorized to work in the U.S.
• Complete ramp and SIDA training for airport security identification.
• Ability to lift/move items of 70 pounds regularly and carry 40-50 pounds on raised surfaces.
• Ability to walk, climb, bend, kneel, crawl, and work in cramped or high spaces.
• Ability to carry heavy items up/down jetway stairs.
• High School diploma or GED.
• Preferred: 1+ year of relevant experience.
