Job summary

Tucson Airport Authority seeks a dedicated Airport Communications Center dispatcher to support public safety dispatch for emergencies and routine events at TUS and RYN. You will operate CAD and a range of security and communication systems while coordinating with police, fire, EMS, FAA, TSA, and airport teams.

The role requires a high school diploma, US citizenship, and the ability to multitask under pressure, with strong communication and decision-making skills.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• U.S. Citizenship required.
• Experience operating radio dispatch equipment in public safety environment preferred.
• Knowledge of public safety communications standards and airport operations beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Provide public safety dispatch for emergency and non-emergency events at Tucson International Airport (TUS) and Ryan Airfield (RYN).
• Operate CAD, ACJIS, NCIC, ENS, CCTV, alarms and Access Control Systems.
• Coordinate with police, fire, EMS, FAA, TSA, ATCT and airport departments.
• Enter incident data and generate operational reports.
• Maintain confidentiality and follow ICS/NIMS protocols.
