Trego Dugan Aviation Of Grand Island Inc in Austin, TX is seeking a Passenger Service Agent to be the face of the operation, delivering friendly service from ticketing to boarding and assisting travelers with special needs.

You will work varied shifts, meet FAA and airport requirements, handle baggage and seating, and help passengers with accessibility needs while maintaining safety and compliance.

Qualifications

• Must read, write, and communicate effectively in English.
• Able to work calmly under time constraints in a high‑pressure airport environment.
• Available to work varied shifts including evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Must present a well‑groomed, professional appearance.
• Must have or be able to obtain authorization to work in the U.S.
• Must be able to obtain SIDA badge and pass fingerprint screening.
• Bilingual/multilingual skills are a plus.
• Prior customer service/airline experience preferred.
• Familiarity with airline reservation/check-in systems (e.g., Sabre, Amadeus) preferred.
• Experience assisting passengers with disabilities/ADA procedures preferred.
• CPR/First Aid certification or willingness to obtain.

Responsibilities

• Process tickets, check baggage, monitor carry‑on weight, and assign seats.
• Provide information on times, procedures, regulations, and seating.
• Handle denied boarding with volunteers and vouchers when needed.
• Ensure FAA/airline/airport regulations compliance at all times.
• Enforce safety and security and assist passengers with disabilities.
• Transport wheelchair passengers between counters/gates.
• Operate jet bridges, ADA ramps, and portable stairs for boarding.
• Perform aircraft cabin cleaning and security checks between flights.
• Complete required training.
• Report safety hazards to supervisor.
• Other duties as assigned by management.
