Job summary

ABM is seeking an Aviation Janitorial Supervisor to oversee daily cleaning operations in airport facilities, ensuring a clean and safe environment for passengers and staff. You will lead frontline teams, assign schedules, and monitor service quality across terminals and public areas.

This role requires 2–3 years of supervisory janitorial experience, a valid driver’s license, and the ability to obtain airport credentials.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• Valid driver’s license for at least 1 year.
• 2–3 years of supervisory experience in janitorial, facilities management, or environmental services.
• Strong leadership and team management abilities.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to obtain airport security credentials.
• Basic computer proficiency (MS Office).

Responsibilities

• Supervise janitorial staff in airport terminals, concourses, restrooms, offices, break rooms, and public spaces.
• Assign daily schedules and monitor productivity to ensure tasks are completed efficiently and on time.
• Conduct inspections to maintain cleanliness and customer satisfaction standards.
• Train and coach team members on cleaning procedures, equipment use, safety protocols, and company policies.
• Ensure OSHA and airport compliance and safety standards.
• Investigate incidents and document concerns.
• Maintain inventory of supplies and coordinate ordering.
• Address attendance and performance issues with management and HR.
• Communicate updates to management and airport stakeholders.
• Support staffing, including interviewing, onboarding, and scheduling.
• Respond to customer requests and resolve service-related concerns.
