Job summary

ABM Industries is seeking an Aviation Supervisor of Janitorial Services to oversee cleaning and maintenance operations at an airport facility. You will lead janitorial staff, assign tasks, and liaise with airport management to maintain a clean and sanitary environment for passengers and staff.

The role requires leadership, strong communication, and experience in fast-paced environments. Swing/Relief shifts are available, with pay at $22.00 per hour.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• At least 1 year supervisory janitorial experience in a large facility.
• Knowledge of cleaning procedures and safety guidelines.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and support janitorial staff daily.
• Assign cleaning tasks and ensure all areas are maintained properly.
• Train and mentor janitorial team members, promoting excellence and efficiency.
• Conduct routine inspections to maintain cleanliness and address issues promptly.
• Manage inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment, ensuring proper use and storage.
• Respond quickly to janitorial cleanliness or production issues.
• Communicate with site leadership and other departments as needed.
• Ensure safety procedures are followed when using cleaning products and equipment.
• Maintain records of cleaning schedules, staff attendance, and performance evaluations.
• Perform custodial work when extra support is needed or in emergencies.
