Job summary

The City of Westfield is seeking a Motor Equipment Operator – Airport to operate a range of medium-duty trucks and snow removal equipment at Westfield Barnes Regional Airport. You will perform routine maintenance, assist in grounds care, and support airport operations under supervision of the Airport Manager and Facilities Coordinator.

The role requires a valid CDL Class B with endorsements and at least one year of related experience.

Qualifications

• At least one year of relevant work experience.
• Valid CDL Class B license with endorsements.
• Ability to operate medium to heavy equipment and snow removal gear.
• Knowledge of safety procedures for airport equipment.

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain a variety of motor equipment and trucks.
• Load and unload materials manually or with handling equipment.
• Perform routine maintenance and minor repairs on equipment and vehicles.
• Service vehicles with fuel, oil, and other fluids; perform minor diagnostics.
