Job summary

The City of Williston is seeking an Airport Mechanic to inspect, service and repair a range of airport vehicles and ground support equipment at Williston International Airport. You will perform preventive maintenance, diagnose issues, conduct emergency repairs, and keep accurate records to comply with regulatory requirements.

Qualifications include a high school diploma, a valid North Dakota CDL (or ability to obtain within 180 days), and hands-on experience with heavy equipment.

Qualifications

• Must have high school diploma or equivalent.
• Must possess a valid ND CDL or obtain one within 180 days.
• Experience operating and maintaining airport vehicles and equipment.
• Knowledge of mechanical, hydraulic, electrical, and small engine systems.
• Ability to work in a team and communicate effectively.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, maintain, and repair airport vehicles and ground support equipment.
• Perform preventative maintenance, diagnostics, and emergency repairs.
• Maintain repair records and parts inventory.
• Assist during snow removal and emergency events.
• Communicate with airport staff and external partners.
