Job summary

Gate Gourmet, part of gategroup, is hiring Local CDL Truck Drivers (CDL A or B) in Newark, NJ. You will load galley equipment, drive to aircraft, and unload at the designated airport facility.

The role is on local routes outside of the airport, with overtime as needed. Requirements include a High School Diploma or GED, a current U.S. driver’s license, and CDL Class A or B. We offer weekly pay, uniforms, and company benefits.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Up to one year of experience preferred.
• CDL Class A or B is required for local routes and airport.

Responsibilities

• Load galley equipment onto the truck.
• Drive the truck to the aircraft at local airports.
• Load galleys according to customer guidelines.
• Unload dirty equipment and dispose of trash per local procedures.
• Adhere to safety and sanitation regulations and company policies.
