Job summary

SMS Clean is seeking a Lead Custodian to maintain the cleanliness of facilities at the CVG Airport site in Hebron, Kentucky. This full-time role requires supervising shift responsibilities and assisting the Facilities Manager with scheduling and administrative duties.

You will perform cleaning of rooms, hallways, lobbies, restrooms, and operate equipment such as burnishers, scrubbers, and lifts. Experience in janitorial services is preferred, with adherence to safety and quality standards.

Qualifications

• Prior experience in janitorial housekeeping preferred
• Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions and memos
• Ability to write simple correspondence and present information clearly
• Basic math operations with money, weight, and measurements

Responsibilities

• Assist Facility Manager with scheduling
• Assist with administrative duties
• Cleans rooms, hallways, lobbies, rest rooms, corridors, elevators, stairways, and locker rooms
• Cleans rugs, carpets, upholstered furniture, and draperies
• Lifts chairs and moves tables and equipment as needed
• Operates burnishers, scrubbers, pressure washer, and lifts
• Washes windows, door panels, and sills
