Job summary
Oshkosh Aerotech is seeking an HVAC Technician to maintain and repair systems across airport facilities and airside equipment. You will perform preventive and corrective maintenance on building HVAC units, rooftop systems, and ground support equipment while adhering to safety protocols.
The role requires interpretation of blueprints and electrical schematics, refrigerant leak repair, brazing, and basic fabrication.
Qualifications
- High School diploma, GED, or equivalent experience.
- EPA Section 608 Certification required.
- 3 years of related HVAC/electrical maintenance in commercial/industrial settings.
- Ability to obtain airport security clearance and work variable shifts.
Responsibilities
- Maintain, troubleshoot, repair, and optimize HVAC systems across airport facilities and airside equipment.
- Service equipment such as building HVAC, rooftop units, pre-conditioned air, GPU, motors, pumps, and fans.
- Interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals; perform refrigerant leak repair and fabrication as needed.
- Work safely in Airport Operations Areas and comply with safety procedures and training.
