Job summary
SSP America is seeking an on-site Human Resources Manager at Newark Liberty International Airport (EWR) to partner with operations leaders, shape people strategies, and drive workforce planning. You will oversee employee relations, labor matters, and leadership development in a high-volume, unionized setting.
With a minimum of 5 years in HR across multi-site operations, you will influence decisions through data, coaching, and credible relationships.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in HR, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of progressive Human Resources experience supporting multi-site operations.
- Demonstrated coaching and influencing of frontline and mid-level leaders.
- Strong knowledge of federal, state, and local employment laws and policy interpretation.
Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary HR business partner to airport operations leadership.
- Translate operational goals into people strategies for staffing, engagement and leadership capability.
- Lead labor relations activities, including handling grievances and union interactions at EWR.
- Develop leadership programs, succession planning, and workforce planning with cross-functional teams.
- Ensure compliance with employment laws and maintain consistent documentation.
