Job summary

M-B Companies, an Aebi Schmidt brand, located in Chilton, seeks a Field Service Technician to service airport snow removal vehicles and heavy equipment, and to provide operator training at customer sites.

You will diagnose, repair, and perform preventative maintenance, travel up to 100% nationwide, and read technical manuals and schematics. Strong mechanical aptitude and communication are essential.

Qualifications

• Mechanical aptitude is required.
• Ability to communicate effectively with various stakeholders.
• Willingness to travel up to 100% nationwide.
• Able to work independently in different environments.

Responsibilities

• Perform in-service and delivery of new equipment at customer sites.
• Assist in training new operators at customer sites.
• Dispatch to customer locations for repairs on heavy equipment (hydraulic, electrical, mechanical, or programming).
• Perform inspections and preventative maintenance across product lines.
• Troubleshoot various systems to find root causes.
• Read and understand technical manuals and schematics.
