Job summary

SSP America at Bradley International Airport in Windsor Locks, CT, is seeking a full-time Fast Food Worker for Chick-fil-A. You will prepare, serve, take orders, and process payments, with morning and afternoon shifts and weekend availability.

Employee benefits include a meal plan and parking. Prior food service experience and a high school diploma are preferred; English proficiency is required for guest interaction.

Qualifications

• One year of experience in food service.
• High school diploma preferred.
• Ability to read, speak, and understand English to communicate with guests.
• Ability to remember and promote menu items.
• Ability to operate a keyboard and POS to pre-check an order and close a check.
• Ability to stand and work in confined spaces for long periods.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, serve, sell, and maintain food/beverage items; greet guests, take orders, and receive payment.
• Process orders accurately into the POS system.
• Handle payments and make change.
• Set up, maintain, clean, and break down machinery and equipment.
• Complete opening, in-progress, and closing checklists.
• Return items to proper places and keep work/storage areas clean.
• Perform cleaning tasks per supervisor instructions to meet health standards.
• Other duties as assigned.
