Job summary

The City of Grand Prairie Municipal Airport is seeking an Airport Operations Technician to learn and perform a range of tasks in aviation operations and facility maintenance. You will work both independently and with a team to keep airport buildings and grounds in top condition and provide friendly service to visitors.

Qualifications

• Education: Reading comprehension and basic instruction understanding; level below high school or equivalent.
• Experience: 1-2 years of related experience.
• Licenses: Valid Driver's License required.

Responsibilities

• Maintains interior facilities: painting walls, cleaning, buffing floors, furniture setup, lighting.
• Maintains exterior facilities: sweeping sidewalks, pressure washing, litter removal, mowing, exterior lighting.
• Maintains grounds: litter pickup, restroom upkeep, mowing, pruning, planting, turf care.
• Provides information and ensures security for guests.
