Job summary

The Reno-Tahoe Airport Authority is hiring an Airport Facilities Custodian to keep the terminal and facilities clean, safe, and welcoming for travelers, employees, and visitors. The role involves cleaning, operating cleaning equipment, stocking supplies, reporting issues, and supporting event setup.

Shifts include day, swing, and graveyard; graveyard shift comes with a $3.00/hour differential. Salary ranges from $19.30 to $22.67 per hour, with annual step increases up to $27.75.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required, or three years of full-time custodial experience.
• Valid driver's license and ability to obtain a SIDA badge are required.
• Able to work all shifts, including weekends and holidays, in a busy public environment.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine cleaning of terminal areas, restrooms, offices, and public spaces.
• Drive airport vehicles to satellite buildings for cleaning needs.
• Sweep, mop, vacuum, and sanitize high-traffic areas.
• Replenish soap, paper products, and sanitizers.
• Monitor and report facility issues and assist with event setup.
• Operate cleaning equipment and follow safety procedures.
