Mead & Hunt, Inc. in Elizabeth, NJ is seeking a limited-term, full-time Electrical Engineering Intern to support airport design projects (taxiways, aprons, runways) starting Spring/Summer 2027 and ending Fall 2027.
The intern will assist engineers, design technicians, and construction managers with electrical airfield engineering tasks, prepare documents, perform design calculations, and help with budgets and field work. Visa sponsorship is not offered for this position.
Mead & Hunt, Inc., a nationally recognized professional services consulting firm, has a position available for a limited-term, full-time electrical engineering intern to work on airport design projects (taxiways, aprons, runways, etc.) based in our Elizabeth, NJ office starting in Spring/Summer 2027 and ending in Fall 2027.
The intern will be responsible for assisting engineers, design technicians, and construction managers with electrical airfield engineering projects in the following areas:
A valid driver’s license and occasional travel will be required.
Successful candidates must have completed at least two semesters of college-level coursework in electrical or civil engineering from an accredited college or university by their start date.

Hourly Rate Range: $18.00 to $25.00 – Actual compensation may vary due to other factors such as: experience, skill set or location.
