Job summary

Prospect Airport Services is seeking a Duty Manager to ensure safe, efficient, and cost-effective daily airport operations. The role coordinates team activities, provides coaching and disciplinary guidance, and supports recruiting, payroll and scheduling.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED or equivalent.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Valid Driver’s License required.
• Must obtain credentials as per airport/state requirements.
• Supervisory experience is required.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate team activities for airport operations.
• Coach, counsel and mentor employees; issue disciplinary action when needed.
• Assist in recruiting, payroll, scheduling, and general admin duties.
• Monitor staffing, overtime, and station performance.
• Promote team-building to motivate staff.
• Ensure work is done safely; report incidents and hazards.
• Perform other duties as assigned within scope and ability.

Job Summary:

The Duty Manager is responsible for ensuring the daily airport operation runs in a safe, efficient, and cost-effective manager . The Duty Manager will oversee and coordinate team activities to create a safe, reliable, efficient, and effective operation.

Job Duties:

• Supervises and coordinates team activities related to the operation.
• Coaches, counsels and mentors employees, including issuing disciplinary action as required .
• Assists in recruiting, administrative, payroll, employee scheduling, and general administrative duties.
• Monitors staffing and overtime use and operational and financial performance of the assigned station.
• Promotes team-building initiatives to develop and motivate team members.
• Complete work in a safe and secure manner, following company safety and operational standards.
• Immediately report safety and security incidents as well as potential hazards in line with the Unifi Fair and Just Culture Policy.
• Perform other related duties as assigned within the appropriate skill , experience, and capabilities expected for this position.

Qualifications:

• High School diploma, GED or equivalent education.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Possesses a valid Driver’s License.
• Must be able to obtain credentials required as per airport or state or customs requirements.
• Supervisory experience is required .

Preferred Qualifications:

• Two years of relevant work experience in the aviation or ground handling services industry.

Physical requirements :

• Must be able to frequently push, pull, stoop, squat, kneel, bend, l ift up to 70lbs and move up to 70lbs ; and constantly walk, stand, handle, grasp and reach out . May have to reach above shoulder occasionally.

Working conditions:

• You will need to have flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including nights, weekends, holidays and overtime. We operate in a shift bid environment.
• Must be able to be alert to moving vehicles or aircraft and use radio equipment.
• Enjoy the outdoors on a daily basis (sun, rain, sleet or snow!) May be exposed to a wide variety of weather conditions, jet and machinery noises, fumes, dirt and dust for extended periods.
